1. Which insurance companies does Tilsner Collision Center work with?


     It is against the law for an insurance company to tell you where to have your car repaired.  It is YOUR choice as the owner to decide where you would like to have your vehicle repaired. Simply call us with the insurance information, and we will take care of the rest!

2. Do you offer rental car service?

     Our facility offers rental car service and helps to make arrangements while your vehicle is being repaired.  Check with your insurance company or your policy to see if you have rental coverage.

3. Do I need an appointment for an estimate?

     Tilsner Collision Center has two drive-up estimate bays and you can come in to receive an estimate during our hours of business. No appointment is required.

4. Do you offer a guarantee on your repairs to my vehicle?

     Our business has written lifetime guarantees for your vehicle. We are proud to stand behind all of our body work and paint work.

5. Will parts be ordered before I drop off my car?

     Parts will be ordered prior to the scheduled drop-off date to assure that they arrive on-time for the start of repairs.

6. Do you offer shuttle service?

     Yes! We want to make sure that your experience at Tilsner Collision Center is a positive one.  Therefore, we offer both pick-up and delivery services. We have a courtesy vehicle that is equipped to take you home after you drop off your car. 

7. Will your paint colors match the color of my vehicle?

     We use state-of-the-art paint matching systems and Sikkens paint products to assure color accuracy.

8. What forms of payment do you accept?

     We accept cash,  insurance checks, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX).  We do not accept personal checks.

No vehicle will be released until payment is made in full.  No exceptions.

9. Where do I get a claim number?

     After the accident, you need to report the claim to your insurance company, where they will give you a claim number.  We use this number as our reference to start the repair process with your insurance company.

10. Are you open on weekends?

     We are open every Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm (by appointment only).  We are closed on Sundays.

11. How will I know when my car is done and ready for pick up?

     We stay on top of progress for each car so that we can let you know where your car is in its repair process.  We will notify you the day before your car is scheduled to be completed.  If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to call us at (262) 632-8888.

12. Do I need to pay a deductible?

     The amount of your deductible can be determined by examining your insurance policy.

13. Can I wash my car after I pick it up?

     After your car’s repairs have been completed, it is washed to a perfect shine. We recommend that you use mild soap and water if you need to wash your car.  Do not use wax on your vehicle for 6 weeks after repair in order to protect the fresh paint.

14. Do you offer any other services for my car while it is being repaired?

     Yes!  Be sure to let a staff member know ahead of your car’s scheduled drop-off of any other services you have in mind.

15. Is my car a total loss if the frame is damaged?

     The car is a total loss only if the cost of the repairs exceed the value of the car. Our state-of-the-art frame and laser measuring machines will bring your vehicle back to original factory specs.
